Course Description:
This comprehensive course on Christian Biblical Foundations provides students with an essential understanding of the Bible as the cornerstone of the Christian faith. The course delves into the historical, literary, and theological dimensions of the Scriptures, equipping students with the knowledge and skills to interpret and apply biblical truths in their personal lives and ministries.
Course Objectives:
- Historical Context: Gain a thorough understanding of the historical and cultural contexts in which the biblical texts were written.
- Theological Insights: Explore key theological themes and doctrines that emerge from the biblical narrative.
- Practical Application: Learn to apply biblical principles to modern-day life and ministry.

- New Testament Survey:
- Synopsis of each of the New Testament books.
- Understanding the context of each NT book for proper interpretation.
- Major themes and the unity of the biblical narrative.
- Hebrew History:
- In depth look at the Old Testament and the history of the Hebrew people. Explore Biblical prophesies concerning Israel’s future.
- Gain a greater understanding of the geography and places in and around Israel, the current Middle East conflict, and connect it to the History and people of Israel.
- Study the covenant God made with Abraham and see it develop through his family for a nation.
- Blood Covenant:
- Recognize the Historical and Biblical terms and rituals of Covenants
- Understand the uniqueness and power of the Blood
- Understand the promises and the provisions that were made for the New Covenant and procured through Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God.
- Church Government:
- Biblical definition of the structure of church government.
- Comprehensive study of the Five-fold office gifts given in Ephesians 4:11-12
- Foundational roles of the Apostle and Prophet in context of church government.
- Systematic Theology:
- Systematic teaching of the foundations of the Christian faith.
- In depth study of the nature and origin of mankind and the eternal states.
- Christology and the sacrificial system: Redemption and Justification.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of the historical and cultural contexts of the Bible.
- Understand the foundations of the Old and New Testaments and God’s covenant relationship with His Church and His people.
- Apply biblical principles to personal life, ministry, and contemporary issues.

Prerequisites:
